District 9 Supervisor David Campos wed his longtime partner, Phil Hwang, in a small, private — and beachside, judging by the photos — ceremony over the holidays, the supervisor announced on his Facebook page  Monday night.

Hwang and Campos were together for 18 years before tying the knot, though as a same-sex couple, their rights to do so were only recently upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court. They share a home in Bernal Heights with their bulldog, Winston.

Campos, 43, is running for the state Assembly seat held by the termed-out Tom Ammiano against fellow second-term supervisor (and fellow Harvard Law graduate) Board of Supervisors President David Chiu.
