Two women were robbed in the Mission district early Sunday morning when a group of men confronted them after realizing they were working without their pimps, police said.

The women, ages 19 and 21, were approached by three men about midnight near 20th and Capp streets. With no protector in sight, the men cornered the women and stole a purse, cash, cellphone and identification cards, police said.
