Woman stabs man with screwdriver after argument

A woman was hauled off in handcuffs after stabbing a man with a screwdriver following a spat in North Beach Friday morning, cops said.

The 56-year-old woman pierced the 45-year-old man with the tool at Columbus and Mason streets around 12:30 a.m., police said.

After an argument, the man pushed the woman to the ground, cops said. Not to be screwed with, the woman sprung to her feet and twice stabbed the man, hospitalizing him, they said.

Responding cops arrested her for the assault, police said.

The man’s injuries were not life threatening, police said.
