Woman robbed by man and woman in the Tenderloin

A woman was brutally robbed by two crooks in the Tenderloin on Saturday evening, police said Monday.

The 32-year-old victim was in the area of Ellis and Leavenworth streets about 6:30 p.m. when a woman in her 30s and a man in his 20s assaulted her, according to police.

One of the suspects slammed her head against the wall and held her in place while the other suspect went through her pockets and bra, police said. The crooks fled in an unknown direction.

They made off with the victim’s cellphone, wallet, cash and a ring, police said.

The victim sustained a minor head injury and was treated at the hospital.
