Aaaand here we go again! The tabloids are still trying to come up with dramatic ways to link Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston. The latest OK! story claims Angie wants to race to the altar with Jen’s ex-husband Brad Pitt, to trump Jen’s intended wedding with Justin Theroux.
“It’s not a subject Angelina likes to talk about, but the truth is she and Jen still hate each other,” a source allegedly dished. “They just can’t seem to let go of their grudges. They’ve taken a lot of jabs at one another over the years, but Angelina seems to be the one really obsessed with proving her dominance.”
“Obviously she loves Brad deeply and wants to cement their bond and keep her family together,” says the insider. “But the consensus among their friends is that there’s more going on than just that. A lot of people around her suspect that this wedding has a lot to do with her need to be on top.”
Oh, stop it! Angie and Brad have six kids together — does she really have anything left to prove about their commitment to each other?
Note to reporters: Don’t ask George Clooney about his love life. When personal matters came up during a press conference for “The Ides of March,” the actor let his displeasure be known.
When one hapless reporter asked, “Which is harder, directing or dating in the spotlight?” the former E.R. star — now allegedly dating “Dancing With the Stars” alum Stacy Keibler — fired back.
“I knew someone would do it,” George said. “I’m very disappointed in you. I mean, everyone is a little ashamed of you right now.”
Later George told “Access Hollywood” that “I grew up as a son of a newsman. So, I enjoy watching people ask dumb questions — makes me laugh.”
Meanwhile, the poor dude who got called out in front of everyone probably cried himself to sleep that night.
Jeez, George, we understand you want to keep your personal life personal. But was that really such an offensive question that you had to destroy a guy who was just trying to do his job?
David Arquette is breaking his silence about his separation from wife Courteney Cox. And by “breaking his silence,” we mean he went a good couple of weeks without sharing personal info on the relationship.
“We had grown apart for quite a while and I was just really heartbroken over it. I used it as an excuse to accelerate my drinking,” said the now-rehabbed actor.
“I didn’t know how to deal with these feelings,” David admitted. “And part of getting sober, it’s really difficult at the beginning. You are confronted with of these new emotions... You know, you’re not good enough.”
We can’t help but admire David for his absolute raw candor — a rarity in these times of over-publicist-controlled celebs.
