District 8 Supervisor Scott Wiener took to Facebook this weekend to focus on creating jobs and took clear policy stances.
“We need to stop just talking about job creation and actually do it,” Wiener wrote in the post.
Wiener referred to recently elected Gov. Jerry Brown’s reaching out to tech companies for ideas to boost jobs.
And under the header of “What we can do in San Francisco,” Wiener referenced the latest news about Twitter possibly leaving San Francisco and the idea of city officials examining doing away with the payroll tax.
Under what not to do, Wiener speaks out against doing away with early morning parking deals, which the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority, which operates Muni and also controls the public parking garages, is examining.
