Update 3:24 p.m.:

Those BART delays have gotten a bit better; commuters can now expect a 10 to 15-minute minute delay on the Richmond line in the Fremont, Richmond and Millbrae directions.

Original story 2:53 p.m.:

A small brush fire near the Richmond train yard has caused major BART delays. Trains are backed up in the Fremont, Richmond, and Millbrae directions, and, according to SF Appeal, there is no service at all to the Richmond, El Cerrito del Norte and El Cerrito Plaza stations.

Last year, a three-alarm fire near the West Oakland BART station shut down service between S.F. and the East Bay for 12 hours.

We'll update you when trains are running on time again, but in the meantime, expect an annoying commute.
