A 16-year-old San Francisco boy has been identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office as the victim of a fatal shooting in The City’s Silver Terrace neighborhood late Saturday night.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting near Alemany Boulevard and Ellsworth Street at 11:14 p.m., police Officer Albie Esparza said. Clifton Chatman suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A second shooting victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Investigators had not determined Sunday if the shooting was gang-related. No suspect description was available.
