Van plunges off Twin Peaks cliff, strikes house 

A van went off a cliff and crashed into a building on San Francisco's Twin Peaks on Friday morning, according to a fire department official.

The van and its three occupants went off a cliff and struck a building at 2 Clarendon Ave. around 10:20 a.m., the official said.

At least one person was transported to a hospital by ambulance after the crash. The driver and two passengers sustained minor injuries, according to police at the scene.

The City's Department of Building Inspection will check the building to determine if it has been structurally damaged.
