UCSF hospitals restrict visits from youths 

Beginning today, UC San Francisco Medical Center and Children’s Hospital will not allow visitors 16 years and younger on patient-care floors. The temporary change is due to the swine flu outbreak and follows a similar protocol announced last week at four California Pacific Medial Center locations. “We have seen a modest increase in total flu cases both in our patients and in the general population,” a UCSF statement said.
