A man and a woman were shot while driving in their car in the Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood Wednesday evening, according to police.
The woman, who is in her 30s and was seated in the drivers side, suffered life-threatening injuries when a suspect shot into the blue two-door Buick she was driving. The man, also in his 30s, was seated in the passenger side and suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
Both victims were transported to the hospital, according to the San Francisco Police Sgt. Michael Andraychak.
No arrests have been made in the shooting, which occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Baker and Post streets. The car was headed south on Baker, according to Andraychak.
The number of suspects is unknown at this time, but the incident is being investigated by the San Francisco Police Gang Task Force.
