A shocking shooting inside a Muni bus Sunday night wounded two people, police said, after a bullet that went straight through a man’s thigh struck a woman in the abdomen.

At about 10 p.m., the gunman who was reportedly exiting the 14-Mission bus on Mission Street and Precita Avenue turned around and opened fire, injuring the 21-year-old man and 26-year-old woman.

Both victims were transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening, police said.

The suspect, described as a man in his late teens or early 20s, reportedly fled after the incident and had not been found as of Monday.

An argument between the male victim and suspect preceded the shooting, police said.
