Two men jumped leaving Union Square area nightclub 

Two men in their 20s leaving a nightclub in the Union Square area were jumped by four thugs Friday, cops said.

The victims were punched and knocked on the ground at Campton Place and Stockton Street around 2:20 a.m., police said.

The four hoodlums who jumped them, described by police as men in their 20s, fled the scene on foot. One of the four was taken into custody shortly after the incident, cops said.

The victims were treated at St. Francis Hospital for injuries that were not life threatening, police said. It is not known if the victims knew the attackers or were also at the club.
