Police received a call just after 2 p.m. of the car on fire and a man running around Kezar Stadium with his pants on fire, police said. The fire department responded to the scene at Kezar Drive near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and extinguished the blaze.

Gas cans were located near the scene and two victims were located with burn injuries, Esparza said.

One of the victims was said to have serious burn injuries, while the extent of the second victim's injuries was unknown, Esparza said. The two men were reportedly working on the car when it caught fire.
