Two men were shot in the Bayview neighborhood Tuesday night and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The shooter hopped out of a gold Honda sedan and unleashed 10 rounds at the intersection of Fitzgerald Avenue and Ingalls Street, striking one victim in the back and the other in the ankle, police said.
Officers responded to scene just before 8 p.m. and were told that two male victims ages 48 and 44 had been transported to the hospital by "anonymous civilians," San Francisco Police Lt. Troy Dangerfield said.
Police tried to interview the victims at the hospital, but they were “uncooperative,” Dangerfield said.
Both victims are expected to survive.
The shooting does not appear to be gang related, according to Dangerfield. There have been no arrests.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
