Two men force their way into grow house, steal bag of marijuana

Two thugs forced their way into a legal grow house in the Mission on Tuesday and stole a garbage bag full of marijuana clippings, police Officer Gordon Shyy said.

The incident occurred on the first block of Duboce Avenue about 11:30 p.m., police said, when the two victims who worked at the warehouse were about to close a garage door when two male suspects forced their way into the building.

The thugs pushed a 22-year-old woman who worked there to the ground, Shyy said, but she was not seriously injured. The crooks then grabbed the bag and fled on foot.

The other victim was a 47-year-old man. The victims showed police documentation that proved their operation was legal, Shyy said.

Police did not have a detailed description of the suspects, only saying that they were men aged 20 to 30. No arrests have been made.
