Two injured in stabbing at Richmond work site

Two people were injured in a stabbing at a Richmond work site on Wednesday, police said.

Three men were involved in an argument in the 400 block of 5th Avenue about 5:34 p.m. when things got physical, police said. The 32-year-old suspect in the incident punched a 34-year-old man in the face and stabbed him in the torso.

A 24-year-old man tried to stop the suspect and got stabbed in the leg, police said.

The suspect then fled the scene.

The victims' injuries were not life threatening, police said. The 24-year-old victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and the 34-year-old victim was treated at the scene.

No arrest has been made.
