Two men were arrested after a shooting on Market Street in San Francisco on Saturday, according to police.

Multiple gunshots were fired around 5:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of Market Street, between 6th and 7th streets, Sgt. Dennis Toomer said.

According to police, a man in his 20s was struck in the head by shrapnel and taken to San Francisco General Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

It is unclear if the victim was the intended target, Toomer said.
