Robin Thicke has been disconsolate since getting dumped recently by actress wife Paula Patton, but a VH1 stunt showed the skeezy crooner just how much people care about him.
VH1 promoted an online chat Tuesday by inviting Twitter users to question the cocky Canadian using the #askthicke hashtag. Thicke, whose new album, "Paula," features the lead single "Get Her Back," was immediately deluged by comments.
One tweeter reminded Thicke of his sui generis style."Do u gel ur hair with the grease from ur own personality," chirped @MycroftLuvzCake.
User @ayotristan tapped Thicke's wisdom: "Train A leaves the station at 40mph and train B leaves at 55mph, how far is the judge going to order you to stay away from Paula?"
User @deadlyknitshade struck while the pan was hot: "Do I need to defrost these prawns before I cook them or are they ok to just bung in the pan straight from the freezer?"
Another alluded to his hit "Blurred Lines," which featured a fully dressed Thicke, Pharrell and T.I. slinging questionable lyrics to blithely disrobed models.
"It might seem like some of the questions on this hashtag are cruel and abusive but Robin, I know you want it," tweeted @kittyknits.
Thicke did make it to the chat.
"I'm a big boy. I can handle it," he tweeted.
Williams in rehab
San Francisco resident Robin Williams is returning to rehab, The Associated Press reports. But don't think the star of CBS' "The Crazy Ones" has launched his Lamborghini into a cuddly puppy convention or gone on a Donald Sterling-sized racial tirade. This is a refresher session to maintain his sobriety.
Williams is "taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud," his publicist said.
The comedian and actor has struggled with alcohol and cocaine abuse in the past. According to TMZ, he quit alcohol and cocaine cold turkey in the early 1980s before relapsing in 2006 and entering rehab.
