Truancy report heard by supes 

Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi, the chair of the Board of Supervisors Government Audit and Oversight Committee, will lead hearings Thursday on grand jury reports about truancy in public schools, city-funded nonprofits and the price of city pensions. Under state law, the Board of Supervisors must respond to findings in the reports and recommendations to the presiding Superior Court judge within 90 days of receiving the documents.
