Transit options change with president’s visit 

A key portion of downtown streets will be closed to traffic from 11 a.m. today until noon Wednesday due to President Barack Obama’s visit to The City. Seven Muni bus routes are also affected.

Riders can visit www.sfmta.com or call 311 to find out which lines can be used as alternatives. Obama is scheduled to arrive at San Francisco International Airport at 5:30 p.m. today.

Street closures

  • Fourth Street from Market to Mission streets
  • (a special lane will be set up for vehicles exiting parking garages)
  • Mission Street from Fourth to Third streets

  • 8X-AX-BX-Bayshore Express
  • 14-Mission
  • 14L-Mission
  • 14X-Mission
  • 30-Stockton
  • 45-Union/Stockton
  • 91-Owl
