Three women were busted trying to break two boys out of a juvenile correctional center in San Mateo County Tuesday night.
The women, ages 18, 19 and 21, allegedly drove the getaway car in the disrupted jailbreak from the Log Cabin Boys Ranch in La Honda, according to the San Mateo County sheriff’s office.
Deputies were called at 8:11 p.m. regarding the 17-year-old boys that had escaped. They passed a vehicle that matched the description of the car spotted during the escape. The vehicle was pulled over and all five occupants were taken into custody.
The adult women were identified as 21-yea-rold Rokesha Pineda of San Francisco; 19-year-old Angelica Pineda of San Francisco; and 18-year-old Kelvina Burton of Antioch. The three were booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on charges of aiding and abetting an escapee and conspiracy.
The juveniles were booked into the San Mateo County Youth Service Center on multiple charges.
