Three men were arrested Saturday after leading San Francisco police on a pursuit that ended in San Mateo County, Sgt. Eric O'Neal said.
About 3:30 p.m., officers attempted to pull over a vehicle that matched the description of a vehicle involved in a shooting in the 1100 block of Fillmore Street on Friday.
Police first tried to pull the vehicle over at San Bruno Avenue and Ordway Street, O'Neal said. The vehicle failed to stop and led police on a chase through the Bayview. The suspect vehicle reportedly rammed into a police vehicle before driving onto Highway 101.
San Francisco police lost the suspect vehicle around Oyster Point, O'Neal said. California Highway Patrol officers then located the vehicle and pursued it throughout points in San Mateo County before the three suspects were taken into custody.
The identity of the suspects will not be released until they are booked into San Francisco County Jail.
The victim in the Fillmore Street shooting was a 50-year-old man who sustained a gunshot wound to his arm. His injury was not considered life threatening
