As a rule, if President Obama says something about industry money and special interests, it's false. The Center for Responsive Politics has compiled, by industry, third-quarter numbers of giving by industry. These numbers tell a different story from the one Obama tells.
Democrats have raised much more from the biggest business political action committees. They've also raised more from Wall Street, the drug industry, and the HMO industry. This doesn't quite fit Obama's narrative, does it?
