A 15-year-old girl was viciously assaulted and robbed in the bathroom of the Westfield San Francisco Centre shopping mall Tuesday, police said.
A female thug reportedly followed the teenager into the bathroom about 4:30 p.m., pushed her from behind and bashed her face into a bathroom wall, knocking her unconscious.
The suspect then fled with the girl's cellphone.
There were no arrests as of Wednesday morning, police said, and the victim didn't get a good look at the suspect.
Investigators are looking to see if video surveillance cameras caught the suspect after she left the bathroom, Officer Tracy Turner said.
The victim was reportedly transported to San Francisco General Hospital with facial injuries and head trauma. Her injuries are not life threatening, police said.
