This probably won’t come as much of a surprise, but TV psychic Sylvia Browne was dead wrong when it came to predicting the fate of Amanda Berry, one of the young women taken captive in Cleveland.

Browne appeared on “The Montel Show” in 2004 and, according to Fox, spoke with Berry’s mother, who was of course torn up over her daughter’s disappearance. Browne told her that Amanda was “in heaven and on the other side,” and that her final words were, “Goodbye, mom, I love you.” Berry’s mother herself passed away a year later.

Now people are sending Browne hate mail on her Facebook page in droves, calling her a fraud, a parasite, disgusting and a joke. “I feel very bad,” writes Browne on FB. “I’m so so glad that I was wrong.”
