Suspect likely to go free after police mistakenly burn huge stash of heroin 

Federal drug charges against a Pittsburgh woman are close to being thrown out because local police mistakenly burned the evidence — more than 14,000 stamp bags of heroin. Pittsburgh law enforcement wrongly thought the case had been closed, while in fact it was taken over by federal prosecutors. The defense for Tiona Jones, 31, hinges on whether or not the search of her purse during a traffic stop was legal.
