Suspect in custody after Fisherman’s Wharf assault 

 

Police are investigating a suspected assault that occurred early this morning near San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf.
Around 2:30 a.m. officers responded to a report of a missing person. Officers searching the area found a victim and suspect in the 400 block of North Point Street, police said.
The suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of assault, according to police.
Police did not have information about any injuries from the attack.
