Supporters rally to put Prop 49 back on November ballot

Members of 99Rise, Move to Amend Sonoma County, California Clean Money Campaign, and other supporters gathered at Civic Center Plaza near the California State Building at 350 Mcallister Wednesday, August 20 to rally in support of placing Proposition 49 on the ballot. Proposition 49 would allow California voters in the November elections to propose congress pass an amendment to the constitution to overturn the 2010 Citizens United Decision and to allow for the regulation of political spending. Rally members associated with the Really Big Bucks theater troupe performed a skit representing big businesses, U.S. Congress, and "money" to outline their concerns.
