Supervisors vote on police officers’ concessions

On Wednesday, the Board of Supervisors Government Audit and Oversight Committee meets at 2 p.m. to vote on agreements made by several labor union groups who agreed to give up pay to help close the $483 million deficit. Among the labor contracts up for a vote is the Police Officers’ Association contract. The POA’s concessions were not celebrated by every supervisor, with some saying they didn’t give up enough.

The committee meets Wednesday, at City Hall, in Room 263.
