Suffering in silence: Man keeps lip sealed after bullet to chest 

A man was shot in the chest in the Western Addition on Monday, police said.

The 27-year-old victim was at the intersection of Turk and Fillmore streets about 4 p.m. when he was reportedly shot. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, but his injuries were considered minor.

Police said the victim would not cooperate with them regarding the incident, and no further information was available.
