Stretch of northbound I-280 reopened after weekend project

A stretch of northbound Interstate Highway 280 in San Francisco reopened this morning after being closed during the Fourth of July holiday weekend for construction.

The highway closure between the U.S. 101/I-280 interchange and downtown San Francisco was to replace a bridge hinge on northbound I-280 between Cesar Chavez and 24th streets. The project started Wednesday.
