Snoop Dogg, Jane's Addiction, The Killers and Kaskade are said to be performing at a secret show tonight in San Francisco.
Rumor has it, Facebook's founding President Sean Parker -- also of Napster fame -- is hosting the musical celebration.
Allfacebook.com has scored themselves an invite to the exclusive shindig, confirming a performance by Crystal Castles as well as announcing all will take place at 1401 16th St. in San Francisco's SoMa/Potrero Hill area at 5:30 p.m. However Twitter and other sites including a local radio station, are reporting appearances by larger lyrical luminaries.
Believed to be thrown with Napster co-founder Sean Fanning, the undisclosed party was first thought to be tied in to Facebook's F8 Developer's Conference on Thursday. However, sources say that the pair have gathered the big music guns for the reported launch of their new startup Airtime.
Airtime is a live video site that will “meet the need for real-time sharing and communication by allowing users to post videos and react to them live,” according to TheNextWeb.com.
Forbes quotes Parker as saying Airtime's working mission statement is to "eliminate loneliness."
Talk of collaboration between Parker and Fanning has been running the mill for months. TechCrunch reported in April that the duo had teamed up for a video-based project.
