Charlie Sheen made a snide joke about ex-wife Brooke Mueller, and she isn’t laughing. On his first weekend visit with his twin sons since completing his performance tour, the actor snarked to TMZ, “I am teaching them words, because they’re speaking now. I’m teaching them the word ‘rehab’ so they always know where their mom is.”
Now, Brooke is reportedly considering taking him to court if he keeps bashing her in front of the boys.
“Brooke is closely monitoring what Charlie is telling the press, and most importantly, their twin sons, Bob and Max, about her,” a source told Radar Online. “Under the terms of their divorce settlement, Charlie isn’t allowed to publicly speak about Brooke in any negative way, and [she] is convinced he is violating that agreement. Charlie is saying things that she believes are an attempt to make her look like a bad mother, and she’s had enough of it.”
“Brooke spends her nights at home with the boys,” notes the source. “She is in an outpatient rehab program that allows her to be at home at night. She has her sober living companion there with her and her parents are helping her too. She feels it is outrageous for Charlie to be joking about her being in rehab in front of their kids.”
“Brooke has been with the boys every day, and she can’t believe that the first thing Charlie does when he sees them is to attempt to make her into a bad mother,” fumes the source. “If he keeps it up, she’s going to court to stop him.”
Could you blame her?
Sheryl Crow has a new man! The rocker is happily involved with musician Doyle Bramhall, who plays in her band and co-produced her last album. They made their first public appearance as a couple at a charity ball for Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center last week in NYC.
The lovebirds will be touring together until September. And while one might worry about a workplace romance, they did take things slow.
“They’ve known each other for a really long time, but it only turned romantic recently,” a source explained to “People.” “She’s really happy. He’s a really great guy.”
“We have a great foundation, having known each other for 15 years,” Sheryl herself confirmed to “Prevention.”
But don’t expect Sheryl’s sons Wyatt and Levi, whom she’s raising as a single mom, to start calling Doyle “Daddy” anytime soon.
“I’ve been in the situation where I’ve been involved with people and their kids, and if the relationship doesn’t work out, it’s heartbreak,” she explained.
“So I’m keeping the relationship friend-based when we’re around the kids.”
Hmmm. Wonder whom she’s referring to?
And speaking of new boyfriends, Kelly Osbourne has a new man. The fashionista has also known her beau, photographer Anton Lombardi, for years, but things took a romantic turn recently, a source tells the New York Post.
“Kelly’s friends are really happy for them — he’s a really good, very talented guy,” the source says.
And nobody deserved to meet a nice guy more than Kelly: The reality star split with fiancé Luke Worrall last year amid allegations he cheated on her with women, men, and a woman who used to be a man.
All genders aside, that’s a lot of cheating!
