SFPD apprehends fugitive featured on ‘America’s Most Wanted’

A fugitive recently featured on “America’s Most Wanted” was arrested in San Francisco on Thursday, police said.

Mark McGoldrick, 55, was arrested when cops responded to an attempted robbery call in the 600 block of Eddy Street, they said. McGoldrick was detained by security at the scene until cops arrived. Cops then detained the suspect on attempted robbery and possession of stolen property charges. A criminal records check showed McGoldrick was a fugitive.

McGoldrick had been on the lam from Florida since April 2010, where he was wanted on sex offender charges, cops said. U.S. Marshals worked with SFPD to confirm McGoldrick’s identity, they said.
