The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency will meet with local neighbors and business leaders on Wednesday to discuss planning upgrades for the eastern South of Market area neighborhood.
The emphasis of the meeting will focus on segments of Folsom Street, Seventh and Eight streets, and 16th Street. The SFMTA is gathering feedback on potential plans to widen sidewalks, improve traffic flow for transit vehicles, and add bike lanes to the neighborhood. The agency is dubbing the improvement project the Eastern Neighborhoods Transportation Implementation Study — or ENTRIPS.
Wednesday’s meeting will take place at the Gene Friend Recreation Center at 270 Sixth St. It’s scheduled to last from 6 to 8 p.m.
