SF Pro-Am League tips off 35th season 

The San Francisco Bay Area Pro-Am Basketball League kicks off its 35th season today, with a game between S.F. City and South Bay tipping off at 8 p.m. from Kezar Pavilion.

The league consists of eight teams made up of Bay Area past, present and future NBA, semi-pro, ex-college and current college players.

The league hosts games Mondays through Thursdays at Kezar throughout the summer, culminating with a best-of-three championship series which starts Aug. 11.

The women's pro-am league starts Saturday and games will be held each Saturday throughout the summer.
