Financial District, Nob Hill, Chinatown, North Beach, Russian Hill, Telegraph Hill
Cutting it up: Officers at Broadway and Columbus Avenue stopped a fight at 12:30 a.m. June 29 and arrested two individuals in possession of an illegal concealed knife and suspected crack cocaine.
Mission district, Noe Valley
The day the music died: Someone broke a passenger side window at 44 Collingwood St. and stole an MP3 player June 24.
Sunset, Parkside, portions of Golden Gate Park
Spousal abuse: Officers responded to the 800 block of Ocean Avenue where a woman had been beaten by her husband at 1 p.m. June 22, slammed against the ground and an oven numerous times, and had some of her hair ripped from her skull. The victim ran out of the house and called the police. Officers took the suspect into custody and arrested him on numerous felonies.
DUI: Officers responded to 42nd Avenue and Taraval Street at 1:28 a.m. June 28 where a drunken driver had slammed into another vehicle and then had walked away down the street. The officers located the suspect and arrested the San Francisco resident on suspicion of drunken driving and hit and run.
South of Market, China Basin, Embarcadero
Warped: An officer cited a subject who was selling fake tickets for the Vans Warped Tour Concert at Bryant Street and The Embarcadero at 11 a.m. June 21.
Glen Park, Bernal Heights, Excelsior, St. Francis Wood
Collateral damage: An officer investigated a call of shots fired at 4:40 a.m. June 27 on the 300 block of Paris Street and found seven parked cars and one house damaged by bullets.
Bayview, Hunters Point
Almost safe at home: Officers responded to the 300 block of Holyoke Street regarding a purse snatching June 24 at 1 p.m. Officers spoke with a victim who told them that she was walking up to her door of her house, when a person approached her from behind and took her purse. The suspect fled down the stairs.
