SF crime blotter: Woman carjacked in the Bayview district 

A woman was carjacked and another woman’s “friend” stole her stuff while she was hospitalized in your daily crime recap.

2000 block of Bancroft Avenue
7:20 a.m. Monday

A 41-year-old woman was carjacked, cops said. The victim was approaching her car parked in front of her house when a man in his 20s approached, simulated a gun and demanded the car. The victim complied and no arrest has been made.

2400 43rd Avenue
Between Aug. 14 and Oct. 13

A woman who had been hospitalized for two months claimed a friend cleaned her out, police said Tuesday. When she returned from the hospital she said many of her belongings had been stolen by her friend.

Pine and Laguna streets
11:35 p.m. Monday

A 23-year-old man was robbed of his laptop, police said. The victim was walking when a man attacked him, pushing him to the ground. The crook grabbed the victim’s laptop and fled to a waiting car driven by an unknown suspect. The car was a black four door vehicle.

3300 block of Mission Street
11:15 a.m. Monday

A crook was arrested for shoplifting, cops said. Police were told the criminal was observed stuffing his shirt with goods and leaving without paying. He was detained by the reporting party and arrested once police arrived.
