Some folks might be wondering what in the heck ever happened to that nutty singer-actress-comedian Judy Tenuta?
Did she and Emo Phillips hop in a balloon, Lucky Charms-style, and just fly away?
Truth is, the self-proclaimed love goddess (or Aphrodite of the Accordion, if you prefer) has been quite busy, and she’s just released a comeback song and video called “Hot Bra Cones,” a thigh-slapping sendup of the Lady GaGa phenomenon.
Pay close attention to the wicked lyrics — kitten’s got claws, and boy, are they sharp!
But Tenuta has also been steadily working, albeit under the big-screen radar, in: TV’s “General Hospital,” Diet Dr. Pepper commercials, the Haley/Hillary Duff vehicle “Material Girls,” “The Vagina Monologues,” “Menopause — The Musical” and upcoming indie flicks like “Sister Mary,” alongside Bruce Vilanch.
She’s even produced and starred in her own feature film “Desperation Boulevard,” a snarky tale of a gone-to-seed child star who’ll do anything for a comeback.
Even if she hasn’t really been away, let’s welcome her back anyway!
