It looks like the drama isn’t reserved for the screen on the set of "Grey’s Anatomy."
Patrick Dempsey (aka Dr. McDreamy) and Isaiah Washington (Dr. Preston Burke) got into a fight on Monday.
Dempsey and Washington were standing around waiting to film a scene, when Washington grew aggravated and lashed out at co-star T.R. Knight (Dr. George O’Malley).
"That’s when Patrick told Isaiah, ‘Pick on somebody your own size,’" a source told The National Enquirer. "Isaiah became enraged and grabbed Patrick by the throat and shoved him back a few feet."
The fight was broken up and Washington stormed off to his trailer.
"Isaiah is a theater-trained actor who can’t stand the whole McDreamy magazine-cover-boy furor over Patrick," the source said.
Of course, everyone is denying that Washington actually choked Dempsey, but they did confirm there was a brawl.
"We were like two baseball players … nose-to-nose," Washington told People magazine. "We had a difference of opinions while working on set but we’ve resolved it."
Washington even jokes about it, saying no punches were thrown during the argument: "Our faces are too beautiful for that!"
Who better to give advice on being with Tom Cruise than Nicole Kidman? The Oscar-winning actress called Cruise fiancée Katie Holmes to offer some words of advice and give her blessing on the union, after hearing rumors that Holmes is getting cold feet.
"Nicole has made sure that she has told Katie how pleased she is they’re getting married," an insider told Grazia magazine. "She’s alleviated some of Katie’s worries about what it’s like being married to Tom and urged her to go ahead with the wedding. Nicole usually minds her own business, but she made an exception in this case."
Hey, being married to Cruise worked out really well for Kidman. Put in 10 or 12 years, Katie, and you too could win an Oscar.
Mel Gibson says his drunken driving arrest (which was followed by anti-Semitic remarks) forced him to take a long, hard look at himself and that he is ready to make amends to all the folks he has offended. Oh, and he hasn’t had a drink in 65 days.
"All you can do is take another step, keep breathing," Gibson tells Diane Sawyer in his first post-scandal interview airing on "Good Morning America" today and Friday.
The Oscar-winning director has literally cleaned up his act, appearing on the morning show clean-shaven wearing a blue buttoned-up shirt. He looks like he stepped right out of an Eddie Bauer catalog.
Gibson, whose other bad life choices included a fourth "Lethal Weapon" movie and "Bird on a Wire," said he began drinking again two months before Malibu sheriff’s deputies pulled him over on July 28.
"Years go by, you’re fine," he said. "And then all of a sudden in a heartbeat, in an instant, on an impulse, somebody shoves a glass of Mescal in front of your nose and says, ‘It’s from Oaxaca.’ And it’s burning its way through your esophagus and you go, ‘Oh, man, what did I do that for? I can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube.’"
"Actress" Tara Reid is fessin’ up to having all kinds of plastic surgery work done.
The "American Pie" star went under the knife to get implants and liposuction in 2004, but the surgery left her body in a horrible state. The 30-year-old starlet said her breast implants were bumpy and uneven and made for some awkward intimate encounters.
"Guys I was dating would be like, ‘What’s wrong with them? They look really bad. You know, you should really get them fixed.’ So embarrassing. I mean, youdefinitely need to turn off the lights, that’s for sure," Reid told Us Weekly. "I got lipo because even though I was skinny, I wanted — I’m not going to lie — a six-pack. I had body contouring, but it all went wrong. My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing."
So, there you go, ladies. Be thankful for what you got, because it could be worse … you could be Tara Reid.
