Scoop: Miley turning diva to ditch ‘Hannah’?

Is Miley Cyrus turning into a diva to get herself fired from “Hannah Montana”? was first to report that the tween sensation and dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, want an early exit from the show that made her a star, so they’re waging war with producers.

“Both Miley and Billy Ray have been exhibiting major attitude,” a show staffer fumed to the Chicago Sun-Times. “But beyond showing up horribly late for rehearsals and tapings, they’ve been incredibly unkind to Miley’s key cast members.” In particular, Miley is said to be freezing out co-star Emily Osment: “It’s become increasingly clear Miley has become jealous of Emily’s rising profile and popularity.”

Monday, Miley released a statement denying the rumors. “I am fully committed to Hannah Montana,” she insisted, adding, “I’m really excited about our new season.”

“It’s a lot of craziness,” a source told People of the rumors, adding that “Emily and Miley are like sisters.”

“Miley is never late to work,” insists the source. “She has a lot invested in ‘Hannah Montana.’ It’s not going away any time soon.”

We shall see.

Drew vs. Kristen

Saturday’s “SNL” taping was almost the site of an A-list catfight, OK! reports. When Drew Barrymore (there to support pal Cameron Diaz, who made a cameo) crossed paths with Kirsten Dunst (there to support “Spider-Man” co-star James Franco, who was hosting), things apparently got real tense real quick. (If you’ll recall, Kirsten was spotted with actor Justin Long approximately five minutes after he split with Drew in July.)

“Drew and Kirsten had a really awkward run-in,” an onlooker told the magazine. “James had to deflect the situation by making a joke and walking away with Kirsten while Drew then fumed about it to Cameron.”

At the after-party, an attendee says, “they stayed far away from each other the entire night.”

Seriously? Two talented Hollywood beauties fighting over the Mac guy? We know geeks are chic right now, but this is ridiculous!

Meg: Dennis Cheated

Meg Ryan’s image — and her career — took a big hit when, at the end of her marriage to Dennis Quaid, she took up with “Proof of Life” costar Russell Crowe. But now the actress is telling her side of the story. Meg, who plays a cheated-on wife in “The Women,” says she went through the same heartache in real life.

“Dennis was not faithful to me for a very long time, and that was very painful,” the actress confesses to In Style.

Meg also defends Russell, saying he “didn’t break up the marriage. He was definitely there at the end, but it wasn’t his fault.”

But the messy, very public divorce was “also incredibly liberating,” Meg adds, explaining that it helped her shed the “America’s sweetheart” label she was saddled with. “Now I was utterly free. I didn’t have to care about what people thought. I have gotten to do what I guess I secretly wanted to do. Be totally under the radar and live my life.”

Whatever you gotta tell yourself, honey.
