Her 2009 death was officially attributed to acute pneumonia, anemia and “multiple drug intoxication.”
However, Murphy’s father is convinced she was poisoned and even went so far as to have samples of her hair examined for signs of toxicity. His investigators reportedly found higher than normal levels of “heavy metals,” which he claimed were probably rat poison.
According to the Huffington Post, there are several other theories for the high levels, the most obvious of which could be hair dye.
That’s not as interesting as the suspicion that she was offed by government spies, though, is it?
