Just when you thought Jennifer Aniston couldn’t catch a break — her latest rom-com, “The Switch,” landed with a resounding thud at the box office — it looks like her love life may be back on track. According to Star magazine, the actress has reconnected with former flame John Mayer.
Though they already broke up not once but twice, Jen’s connection with the singer-songwriter is enduring, if you believe the tabloid. “She tried to be with other guys, but the feelings Jen has for John are the strongest she’s had since she split from Brad Pitt,” an inside source explained. “And she can’t give up on that.”
The on-off couple have allegedly been taking steps toward a reconciliation since the start of the year, and this month, the former “Friends” star finally agreed to a face-to-face rendezvous.
“He told her he really wanted to see her. She finally said OK, but the meetup had to be on the down-low,” the insider said. “He paid for a private jet so no one would know.”
OK, you almost had us there, Star, but you had to throw in that absurd gratuitous detail about a private jet. What, did she parachute down to the roof of his apartment building?
Paris Hilton may not be as hotly pursued by paparazzi as she used to be, but apparently she’s still a big draw for burglars. The celebutante’s home was the site of an arrest early Tuesday morning, as cops collared a thug who attempted to force his way into her L.A. spread.
“So scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding two big knives. Cops are here arresting him,” tweeted the heiress.
The former “Simple Life” star has previously been a victim of the Hollywood burglary ring run by teens, who also relieved celebs like Lindsay Lohan and Orlando Bloom of their designer valuables. Much of her stolen jewelry was later recovered.
Paris recently announced her intention to go into the hotel business like her family. We’re guessing the chain will have the tightest security in town.
Fantasia Barrino says it wasn’t just her turbulent affair with a married man that led her to attempt suicide. Though the singer took an overdose of pills soon after on-off beau Antwaun Cook’s wife named her in divorce papers, Fantasia says that was just the final straw.
“Everybody feels I tried to harm myself over a man, but I have had a lot of bad relationships,” the “American Idol” winner explained on “Good Morning America.” “That had somewhat to do with it because it was so heavy, it was brand-new information, I was already going through so much.
“I think it was just six years of everything, of me holding all that stuff on the inside and not letting it all out. I just got very, very tired,” she mused.
Fantasia says she’s doing “better” and now sees a life coach who is helping her work through “hurt, pain, trust issues, being lonely, all these things people don’t see with Fantasia.” We’re very glad to hear she’s getting help.
The ink is barely dry on Tiger Woods’s divorce papers, but the woman who has the honor of being known as his “mistress No. 1” wants him back.
After news broke Monday that the golf great’s split from Elin Nordegren was finalized, Rachel Uchitel told a friend — who then blabbed to TMZ — that "I feel horrible for him. He loved her. But he was in love with me. I hope he remembers that was real, and reaches out to me."
"I'd give up everything to be with him again," lamented the former party planner.
Think she has a shot?
