Scoop: ‘Duck Dynasty’ has defenders

Don’t expect the “Duck Dynasty” kerfuffle to blow over anytime soon.

Not only has Sarah Palin chimed in on it, a petition is going around to bring back embattled star Phil Robertson, according to Fox News.

Robertson caught flak for telling GQ magazine that homosexuality was not “logical” and it was just as sinful as bestiality. A&E responded by giving him an indefinite suspension from the network.

The reinstatement petition was drawn up by an organization called Faith Driven Consumer, which released a statement defending his words, calling them a “view that has stood the test of time for thousands of years and continues to be held by a majority of Americans and today’s world as a whole.”

Grizzly Mom Palin also warned, “Free speech is an endangered species.” Interesting words, coming from an avid hunter.
