Scoop: Dennis Rodman tries to undo North Korea outburst

Dennis Rodman made another spectacle of himself by going back to North Korea again to party with Kim Jong-Un for the leader’s birthday this week.

But an interview he gave to CNN is what’s really making people mad. In the clip, he is asked about Kenneth Bae, an American being held captive in North Korea.

Combative, he comes back with, “Do you understand what he did? In this country?” The interview then spirals downward, with Rodman yelling and cursing and saying how much he “loved” his “friend,” Jong-Un.

In an attempt at damage control, his publicist later released a statement to CNN in which the ex-NBA star said, “I want to first apologize to Kenneth Bae’s family.” Rodman then admitted he had been drinking.

Bae’s family said they were “appalled” at his behavior. They aren’t the only ones.
