School board hopefuls have 5 days to decide

Friday marked the final day for candidates running for offices such as San Francisco supervisor to turn in their nominations to run for office, unless they were thinking about running for the Board of Education. Because incumbent school board President Jane Kim filed papers to run for District 6 supervisor, the Department of Elections is required to extend the deadline for school board applicants by five days.

So, if you’re looking to make an impact on The City’s educational system, you have until 5 p.m. Wednesday to decide.
