Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson haven’t officially come out as a couple, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck ... well, you know.
After cozying up to each other on a Mexican getaway recently, then being spotted dining together at Chateau Marmont, the pair were reportedly making eyes at each other over dinner in West Hollywood on Saturday night.
Granted, it wasn’t a one-on-one date, but the 26-year-old actress and the 50-year-old Oscar winner were close during a group meal at Italian eatery Cecconi’s, according to a People magazine source.
“They were smiles all night and seemed to have a great time together,” the source said. “Scarlett and Sean sat very closely and exchanged flirty looks.”
“Scarlett acted very intrigued by him,” the spy said. “She would smile, nod her head and just listen to his stories.”
Sounds to us like someone’s smitten! But will ScarJo get her heart broken by a romance with an older man?
With all the conflicts going on in the world, it’s a relief to know that at least the war of tweets between LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville has finally come to an end.
The country singer has traded her fair share of barbs with fiancé Eddie Cibrian’s ex-wife (who happened to be his current wife when LeAnn started dating him). And she even accused Brandi of being secretly behind a group of online haters calling themselves Brandi’s Bunch.
But last weekend, the women evidently laid down their swords — er, smartphones — to announce an online truce.
“As a collective unit, Brandi and I would like all negativity to cease toward one another,” LeAnn said in a statement that Brandi later retweeted. “We have communicated and have a direct understanding that we are ONLY ourselves on Twitter and have no other accounts that try to destroy one another.”
“Please, for our families’ sake, stop the hate now and let us live OUR lives,” LeAnn said. “We don’t need opinions or outside help in order for that to happen.”
In other words, they’re capable of hating each other all by themselves.
Here’s how we know stars are not like us: When they do stuff that’s just like the stuff we do, the media breathlessly reports on it as if it were breaking news. Like when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt took their six children to a deli in New Orleans on Sunday to buy snacks, it was a seriously big deal.
“They came in and got some juice and chips and stuff like that for the kids,” a source told People magazine. “They don’t get a lot of pop for the kids. They like to get the whole family out and walk around on a pretty day like today.” Scandalous!
Angie and the kids showed up in the Big Easy on Friday to spend time with dad Brad while he’s filming in the city.
Along with the dramatic deli outing, the actor reportedly — you might want to be sitting down for this — ordered a triple-decker club sandwich from a hotel during a lunch break from shooting. “I hope he liked it,” the cook told People.
We do too ... we do too.
