Short was arrested on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, on a felony battery case filed after he knocked a man out in a West Hollywood restaurant during an altercation on March 15, 2014.
Columbus Short, the guy who plays gladiator Harrison Wright on the TV show “Scandal,” was arrested today on a felony charge.

TMZ reports that bail is set for $50,000 for the actor, who is accused of breaking a man’s nose in a bar brawl March 15 at a bar and restaurant in Los Angeles.

Online images of the alleged victim are brutal; some spectators at the scene said they thought the man, who was rendered unconscious for several minutes, was dead.

Short allegedly sucker-punched the fellow at an engagement party after the man mouthed off to Short.

According to TMZ, Short has a history of violence. In February, he was arrested on suspicion of physically attacking his wife in front of his children, and in 2010, he faced charges for reportedly attacking a guy playing basketball in a Los Angeles gym.
