The Bears are off to an 0-3 start and have scored just 23 points all season. A road test against the Bearcats (2-1), who are coming off a 50-29 loss to a quality Terra Nova team, could be a tough task.
Capuchino at Aragon, 7 p.m.
Last week, the Mustangs earned their first win since the gas pipeline explosion in San Bruno. This week, Cap hits the road for the first time. Aragon is looking for consistency after a poor showing against Carlmont.
Mills vs. Monte Vista Christian at Burlingame HS, 7 p.m.
Little has gone right for Mills this season, as the Vikings have yet to notch their first victory of the season. Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville), on the other hand, is a perfect 3-0.
Burlingame at Woodside, 8 p.m.
The Panthers hit the road to take on the winless Wildcats as they try and solve the offensive issues that have plagued them all year. Burlingame has scored a total of 37 points in its three games. Likewise, Woodside is looking to end its stretch of back-to-back shutouts.
Crystal Springs Uplands at Woodside Priory, 1 p.m.
The Gryphons travel south in search of their first league victory of the season.
Serra at Valley Christian, 7 p.m.
The Padres (2-1) will have their hands full in a hostile environment in the WCAL opener. Valley Christian (3-0) has outscored opponents 131-7 this season.
